English Federation of Disability Sport

English Federation of Disability Sport (EFDS) are the national body for disabled people in sport and physical activity throughout England. Their vision is that disabled people are active for life. They champion opportunities for disabled people to enjoy sport, supporting the sport and physical activity sectors to be more inclusive.

EFDS created the www.inclusion-club-hub.co.uk, which is a free online toolkit to support clubs to be more inclusive for disabled people. It provides advice, information and resources for better inclusion practices. The charity works with the Inclusion Club to promote inclusion in sport for disabled people.

International Federation of Adapted Physical Activity

IFAPA is an international, cross-disciplinary professional organisation of individuals, institutions and agencies concerned with promotion and dissemination of knowledge and information about adapted physical activity, disability sport, and all other aspects of sport, movement and exercise science for the benefit persons who require adaptations to enable their participation.

International Youth Sport Trust

Youth Sport Trust International uses the power of sport to impact on young people’s lives around the globe. Over the past 20 years our sports leadership work has engaged with and inspired young people in areas of deprivation of over 45 countries, building on their skills and creating new life opportunities.

University of Worcester

The University of Worcester (UW) has a strong tradition and an excellent reputation as an inclusive, open and accessible University. The University leads the way in learning about disability sport in the United Kingdom (UK) and recently launched the world’s first dedicated degree programme in disability sport coaching. Undergraduates can choose from adapted physical activity or sport and disability modules and follow a disability sport pathway or use these to complement other sports-related degree programmes.

The University has a proud tradition of producing graduates who have gone on to make a real impact as coaches, teachers and volunteers within the field of disability and inclusive sport.

CARA Adapted Physical Activity Centre

CARA coordinates, facilitates and advocates for the inclusion of people with disabilities in sport, physical activity and physical education. Their vision is to encourage and enable individuals with disabilities to be active participants in sport, physical activity and physical education.

New Jersey All People Equal

New Jersey All People Equal was founded by Matt Schinelli, a highly experienced and respected leader in the field. NJAPE provide inclusive movement, social and wellness services for individuals with disabilities, as well as for professionals who work to meet their needs. Their programs are designed with an ‘inside out’ mindset so that individuals and programs achieve lasting authentic growth and success.
